Watercolor study after Winslow Homer

9 x 12 "
Watercolor on Paper

Winslow Homer, one of my all
time favorite artists. I picked up a book
about him at the library the other day, that had
some nice examples of his watercolors.
Here is my study of the Pumpkin Patch.

Juliette

9"x12"
Watercolor on Arches
Done in one of my life
drawing classes. I usually
only use charcoal and some pastels
but chose watercolor this time.
I like the softness that I
achieved, but should have
corrected the placement of her
right arm. It's not quite right,
so next time I'll do better. After all it is a
learning process and I learn
something everytime.
